The Raleigh area enjoyed a brilliant cloud-free sunrise today, seen above in mid-twilight (better large on black) and below at sunrise proper (also better LOB)... Although scattering had increased by sunrise proper, muting the colors higher in the sky, the dry air helped preserve much of the intensity of twilight's colors at the horizon. Sweet!
