The Raleigh area had its coldest morning of the season, resulting in a heavy frost on the grass and an abundance of rising steam-fog over the much warmer pond water... and yielding a very colorful view as the sun topped the treeline, above (better large on black). The view just after sunrise proper, below, brought some near-vertical rising steam into the path of the low-angle rays (also better LOB). Sweet sunrise!
