The Raleigh area had the type of cloud cover this morning that I thought would result in a bona fide flamer. I'm still not sure why that didn't happen, but the view was nonetheless sublime... seen above just before the sun went behind the clouds (better large on black) and below at sunrise proper (also better LOB) with its glow in the clouds. Sweet!
