I enjoyed shooting the sunrise this morning with SunriseSunrise.com's Darlene at her long-standing sunrise venue of choice, Point Dume State Beach. Located just west of Malibu, CA, Point Dume is a curious peninsula that juts south into the Pacific from an east-west trending coastline and allows pictures of the rising sun over the Pacific in California... a configuration that sort of makes you want to stand on your head, but that offers a unique and truly world-class vista. Above is the view at sunrise proper (better large on black), and below is the very satisfying view during mid-twilight (also better LOB). Great fun meeting Darlene, and catching some sweet sunrise views!
